Meh, still doesn't work.

If I only knew how to sync my wiimote, I could reinstall the systemmenu, because I can still open HBC.

get a gamecube pad it works in the homebrew channe
Yes, but not with any firmware updater/WiiSCU/Anyregion Changer

WiiSCU also gives me error... -106?

Edit: Not only WiiSCU.. Other programs, like anyregion changer, give me also the -106 error. I have no memory card plugged in.

Hello there guys...its my first post and my first attempt to mod my wii.
I already had the homebrew channel, and i did the whole 4.2 procedure as described. The problem showed up when i reached step 1a. The Trucha Bug Restorer does not start at all...all i see is a black screen and nothing else happens...what is wrong? what should i do?
thank you in advance...and please be patient with me cause i am not an experienced user....

ok i think you are doing 4.2 method that is on first page of this thread.
so you already sent the email and downloaded the the .rar with all the files.
using a SD card that works?
you extracted the .rar and you sd root looks like the picture on page 1?

That's right.... (i think tha the problem is that in the files provided the TBR is 1.0 instead of 1.1 required for 4.2E.....have a look on this http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=165453&st=0 )

well...i downloaded the file-pack 2 hours ago? you updated it since then?even with TRB 1.1 it still doesn't work as TRB 1.1 needs these
IOS15-64-v257.wad
IOS15-64-v523.wad
IOS36-64-v3351.wad
IOS37-64-v3869.wad

instead of these

IOS15-64-v257.wad
IOS15-64-v266.wad
IOS36-64-v3094.wad
IOS38-64-v3610.wad
So...could anyone send me the correct .wad's please?

Hey I followed your guide exactly for 4.2u, everything worked perfectly (all success messages with no errors at all), but I can't play my GC backup disks...
I looked at the compatibility list and made sure everything checked out ok, I keep getting an error message from "rungcbackup" error reading disks 263.
I use DVD+R disks and wrote image files from ImageBurn directly to the dvd (4x write speed), I used 2 disks with .GCM files only and 1 multi-disk of 2 games.

I did some research and they were all old posts back in Aug09...
Can someone please help? I spent a week working on this and never got it to work.

Hey could I run ISO's from my SDHC, its a 32gb I surely want to give some use for it
I copied all the files from the SD card where I installed everything for the wii to that SDHC card and it works fine in the wii... I just wonder if its possible since i see it inside NeoGamma *SDHC WBFS (I tried googling partitioning SD cards but I couldn't make it work... any ideas?

Just an idea to save my self from bad burnings on to DVDs from bad game ISO's
