PS1/2 Modded PS2

Back in 03/04 I got my PS2 "chipped". I was young at the time so I couldnt really hack or mod it myself so my uncle got it chipped for me. Now I have no clue how it was hacked, all I know is that it played burnt games as I received a couple of games and they were just blank cds. They worked fine and everything. So now I want to also backup some games. How would I go about doing this and is there anything I need to know or find out in advance. I mean do I just download a game, burn it to a disk and stick in the PS2?

Download ps2 games from torrents/newsgroups it will most likely be an image file.

Burn it to a disc with http://www.imgburn.com/

Thats about it, stick it in the ps2 and off you go.

are all your games cdr? or do you have some dvd games? As far as I know there is some chips that only allow you to play cdr you might have that, Then you wouldn't be able to play bigger games.

PS2 likes DVD+R booked typed to DVD+ROM for greater compatibility..

I used DVDdecrypter before Imgburn, but both worked, no need for book type as new burners/software do it for you. I've never had to select that setting (2003-present).
