So they must have received there second shipment as i ordered mine way past the 1st shipment cutoff

Received my email from DHL regarding the wiikey purchase the same day!

top picture (real) looks to be lesser quality then the darker fake hehe, prob just the photo though. looks like their pretty much same, pcb routed exactly the same, chip points are the same, if the fake can accept wiikey updates i'd wouldnt mind a fake. wonder if theres any downside to the fake like flashcarts or bootleg games, would suck if it didnt accept updates or gave tons of dre or slowdowns

they said it mighty damange the wii itself, but there is no proof or what so ever.

Actually people that knows resistor is stating that that is a 01B newer resistor and the 012 is a older standard, but they both server exactly the same purpose. That's why some people think it's not a fake. Also like Kirin said the board is the routed the same way on both chip. So it's your call.

well they shipped mine yesterday, i got the email from dhl before i left work, and i checked it this morning, and it's in my town, so YAY!!!!!! now i have to buy the installer a six pack of beer... thats what a real pro charges!!!

I am so upset, read tons of bad stuff about modchipestore site, so I didn't order from them.  I ordered from FoundMy on 3/6, and it is still to ship.

I am hoping that it ships tomorrow, as I understand it is back ordered.  But, now I am just kinda upset that peeps are getting this chip ordering from other sites quicker.

Goes to show, you shouldn't always go with what you read.


i ordered a couple or x3ce xbox chips from them recently and they were fast, reliable, and a little cheaper than from the previous place i ordered from, also shipping was cheap to 7 bucks or something dhl.

Everyone has to remember, they are most likely getting tons of orders for wii chips along with a ton of email asking, "when is my order coming, i placed it 5 minutes ago, i want it now, now, now"...*then drops to ground kicking and screaming like a 2yr old*

Well, I have been pretty patient. It's not that I am kicking and screaming like a two year old, because I know there are many orders. I am more upset by the fact that I may not get this product at all. I think it is pretty reasonable on my part to believe that if I ordered something in the states on the 6th, that I would be able to get it by the 23rd. That is a 17 day difference (13 business days). There maybe a chance I may not get it becuase I will be on vacation after the 23rd. If I am on vacation then there will be noone to sign for it, so it will get sent back to them, and so the merry go round will happen again.

I contacted foundmy yesterday to ask about my shipment. They didn't bother to look up my shipment at all, and said that they would send out all orders today. When I asked for overnight shipping (which there is no option for on the site), they said it was too late since all of the shipping labels were printed. He said I should have an e-mail within 12 hours with shipment details. Well, 15 hours later and no e-mail, no shipment details. I am not upset as of yet, but the closer they get to not shipping it by friday, the higher my chances go up for not getting the chip by the 23rd. Client service is really tested when your overrun and stressed but still deal with a client in the appropriate way (IE: look up the order #, and try to get the client what they want so they will do business with you in the future. I should know I manage a client service department at a software company).

I think that is understandable, and not childish as implied by your note. I am still not judging foundmy until I don't get a chip by the 23rd. But I hate when people aren't entitled to be upset by a set of circumstances. I have been part of 5 or 6 different forums, and I am aware of forum etiquette. I will not be bitching and moaning in the future as a lot of people do, I am just frustrated at this moment.

lol, great for you. My wiikey is in the same county as me too. We are going to meet really soon. I don't know why somehow the estimated delivery date is next monday. Will they deliver it earlier?

i just got mine!! wahoo.. i'm really shocked when i tracked the package, it was in texas yesterday, and this morning, it was already here, in ohio. that is wicked fast!!! i'm gonna mod my Wii tonite.. i'm really excited about this.

and i've changed my opinion about modchipstore.. they did stick to their promise and heck, i got it faster than i was hoping to get (thursday instead of friday - tomorrow)

freaking DHL. Even the item is in their facility. They will not ship it out, because it said it suppose to ship out on Monday. It's inside a container that's why they won't even allow me to go pick up right now. THat sux, have to wait for another 4 days for that.
