Open your Wii and find out which chip you have. Since you'll have to open it to put the chip in, might as well get some practice in now.

Once you know your exact chip, then you can decide on the mod you want to grab up.

If it's a D2C - there's 0% chance that it has cut legs.

It doesn't really matter if it's D2C or D2C2... all new chips support both... it's very difficult to tell the difference anyway.
