Hacking mod mii

hi i have got a wii with a chip in it ,when i boot the wii and go to wii settings it doesnt show settings, a white page comes up sayin i tried to access the address marc ;/eu/eu/eng/index01.html which is unavailable , which system menu version should i use as my update firmware version on modmii ,i dont know what firmware version the menu has the sd card icon in bottom left aprt from that im lost anyone got any ideas how to proceed with update ????

mauifrog but i cant tell what system firmware it is on ,what do i tell mod mii it is 4.0 ,4.1,4.2 its defo not 4.3 does it matter ? thanx in advance for help
