There isn't a magical parameter for the burning speed. Maybe 4X works with you, but it may fail on some other configs. CF my thread about burning for more information.

AFAIK and from my little experience, the best burning speed is the one indicated on the DVD-R but it may change on some configurations. The best is to do some benchs

And yeah I know this feature, I'm using it quite frequently, why ?

You should get Mario Kart without problems.
Also, yes Wiikey can read GameCube backups as well (Wii can play GC games, so with Wiikey you will have a "modded GameWii"
Oh and BE sure to get an triwing, it's hard as hell to remove these damn screws, plus you can damage your wii's case (as I did)...

I'm fairly sure that pretty much any drive can read mini DVDs... my sister even has some strange rectangular CDs, there used to be a craze for making kids CD things with odd shapes.

Yes, but the information is printed on the reverse order, so...And my DVD drive can't read it, but it's rubbish anyway. It can't read Wii games.

yeah actually finding them may be a bit more difficult. you can request them on usenet perhaps, or get into a decent private torrent tracker.

Ah well, Wii games will suite me fine. I've already got Boom Blox downloading. I might look for Super Mario Sunshine, though...

Sunshine is definetly worth completing, Mario Kart DD is very good if you have friends, Metroid Prime is good, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is veery good game (still playing it)...so yeah...also, Luigi's Masion, Resident Evils and such...
