Gaming Mirror's Edge Help!

Hi Everyone! So recently I got Mirror's Edge (super late I know).
So for whatever reason, my game starts lagging and then will freeze at random times.
I've got all the settings on the lowest possible AND turned off Physx Support.
It still lags REALLY FRICKIN HARD.
Please Help!
It's basically unplayable

4 GB Ram
Intel HD Graphics

Well, I guess the only fix for this is getting a better rig to be able to play games lol.

It's okay though, cuz I have a gaming pc already, I just wanted to see if I could play awesome games like this at school
