Hacking miospatcher and mios v10

Hi i was just wondering if i can use the miospatcher by wiigator or the cmios installer rev3 from waninkoko to patch and install the latest mios (v10) from the 4.2 update?

EDIT : It works using Waninkokos Cmios Installer rev3, but that installer looks for RVL-mios-v8.wad so u need to change the name of your v10 mios to exactly that. After that all installs and works fine.

How do you install mios v10 I'm trying to because my dios mios 2.9 has stopped working with the controllers

you can use modmii or NUSDownloader(+key) to download a clean MIOS v10 on your computer as a Wad file.
Or you can use Wiixplorer homebrew to extract RVL-mios-v10.wad from the update partition of one or your Wii Game Disc.
or use Wiiscrubber or TruchaSigner to extract the file from an ISO.

Then you can use a Wad manager to install the MIOS v10.wad
