Here's a list of reviews of different media. Bare in mind that some manufacturers will switch between different dyes for different batches and potentially give different results. TDK, Verbatim and Ritek are almost always the way to go.

im looking for ones i can buy on amazon or ebay.
 
They probably will, but the question is how good of quality they are. The dye quality can vary drastically between discs of lower budget brands. I would ask the seller if they know the media descriptor of the discs and pass if they aren't using a dye like RITEKG04. Prodisc uses several different dyes and they are packaged the same so it is a crapshoot. My first spindle of DVD-Rs ever was Prodisc and I had about half fail to burn and about half of the rest had read errors on everything but the burner. :angry:
