@Snorlax and prowler: Sorry about that, I thought I had read all the posts I hadn't read on that page, guess not.

Also, gold seems to be more common for me than iron, which sucks when I need to make tools and I can't find diamond.

So how come Minecraft makes my GPU burn hotter than many 'real' games?

At least it just heats up for you. My laptop ends up overheating and crashing when it's plugged in. I need to run a program that tells me what temperature my computer is at when playing minecraft, so I can stop if I get 94+ celcius (yeah, THAT hot)

Thanks! By spawn water I assume you mean "create it" I just got a bucket, went to the ocean, filed up the bucket, brought it back, used it on the Block I wanted (The source of the water) and voila. Water fountain!

Just make a grid mine on the redstone/diamond layer, and you'll be sure to fine plenty of it.

I love the music in the game. C418 is one of my favourite artists now. As soon as I played Minecraft, I downloaded all of his albums and just listened to them.

heh, Notch has recycled quite a lot of elements from previous games, for instance the old character Rana was recycled (but had to be removed, because the game she was in got too popular).

So i've been trying to blow up a 1k block TNT block for a while now >.>
No matter how far I go from the blast it just completely assrapes the game, LOL.

It's really unbelievable how fun this game is though. I mean, just thinking about exactly what it is, and what you do...it usually makes people think "that...isn't fun at all". Then you do it and it's HOURS of fun.

I love playing legit, and then just getting bored and save-editing a new world. Like making 1000 TNT house that tauntingly will not explode the world as planned >.>

causes massive lag for me

its a little ridiculous when I can run stuff like HL2, ut2k4, doom3, fear, ect... on max settings
but this lags like a bitch with a little snow
