Gaming Minecraft for 3DS Speculation

This isn't so much a thread as to be like, OMG MINECRAFT FOR 3DS, more like, how would it perform and stuff.

And since the Wii U release is just around the corner, it isn't too late for Mojang to think about a 3DS version.

The way i see it, would be a N3DS exclusive, which would be fine by me.
However, games like Cube Creator 3D and BattleMiner have caught my eye, so maybe a boost with the 96mb ram (Games that have the Please Wait... Prompt like SSB3DS and MH4U have the boost) might be possible. Serverely downgraded however, but we are talking Minecraft here... (Control Pad Plus obviously)

I think the old3ds can handle an OK version of it.
I mean, the PSP and even DS could do it, so I don't see why not for the creaky old 3ds.

If the wiiu version sells bonkers I think a 3ds port will be likely.

No. At least not for the current MCPE with infinite worlds, Redstone etc. We could make a barebones version that looks more like MCPE 0.8, but I don't know if it would be worth it as it would come out as the worst version with no chance of improving... doesn't feel fair to sell it only on the name.
MCPE is well optimized, but AFAIK the New 3DS is less powerful than a PSVita, where MCPE barely runs these days.

I don't really see this becoming a thing at least not right now. You can already buy minecraft literally anywhere else.
