Got me thinking...
I really like that.
I'm kinda like those elephants...
SURGE OF INSPIRATION!!!
I am awestruck!
Lol its Dumbo the Elephant time
My dad told me that story when my grades were bad.
Ah, I used to be like that not that long in the recent past. Then I had an epiphany and I actually tried to do what I thought I couldn't. Quite Awesome.
If at first you don't succeed, give up immediately and eat lots of chocolate.
...or something like that.
Yeah all boundaries are nothing but tiny ropes around our huge elephantine legs, just waiting to be shattered by the power of affirmation. Thank god for general positive statements. If this brilliant measure of boundaries doesn't help you pull yourself by your bootstraps, then by god you need to quit whining and delicately yank away those teeny tiny problems. I mean, what the hell is wrong with any of us ? Do problems even exist ? The rich and poor have the exact same capabilities, don't they ? The same means of repairing ourselves, the same means of reaching out for help, the same mental reasonings, etc. It's all a matter of a teeny tiny barrier, isn't it ? People don't need help ! ! ! ! Nobody needs help ! If only we could print this out and hand it to every homeless person in America ! Oh well sure half of them never learned how to read properly, so I guess they will just have to burn in hell. Or perhaps some of them are sick, but not EMERGENCY ROOM care-type-sick, just mentally or physically ill enough to gain satisfaction from a cup full of change. TEENY TINY ROPES I TELL YOU.
Now substitute the word rope for religion and you know precisely why those of us that understand there is no god, can't figure out those of you absolutely certain there is one. And why your tired boring reply 'well that's just your opinion', doesn't make you look any different than the elephant all the same. It's not just my opinion actually, but when you are willing to pay me a respectable teacher's salary I'll give you the long but valuable education that provides all the proof.
Elephants are not beautiful.
Wow. This is riveting.
This picture also got me thinking..
I think Panzer Tacticer is correct. Or rather, I should say I know. Children hold on to their religion that they were taught to as a child and refuse to let go even when they are proven to be incorrect. Just like the ropes holding on to the elephants.
