For some reason, Mii maker has disappeared from my 3ds, I thought this was odd since its supposed to be there, I cannot find it in my folders, so I tried to install it again by extracting it from my other 3ds, didnt work.

Can somebody help me by giving advice? Thank you.

Try going thru the system settings to console update. If the title is truely missing the console will say there is a update even if you are on the latest firmware. The update being just to restore missing system titles.

It didn't work :/
Here are example instructions on how to individually dump, download, and install legit CIAs for system titles.
Adjust the steps in post #19. The Title ID for the USA version of Mii Maker is 0004001000021700.
  • [7:] FAT IMAGE/title/00040010/00021700/content/00000000.tmd

If you have your backed up SysNAND *.bin image, you can avoid downloading the CTRTransfer image, firmware package at that darth site, or those CIAs using 3DNUS.
  1. GodMode9 → 0:/.../######_XX########_sysnand_000.binNAND image options... → Mount image to drive.
  2. 7:/title/00040010/00021700/content/00000000.tmd TMD file options...Build CIA (legit).
The dumped CIA will be found at:
  • sdmc:/gm9/out/0004001000021700 Mii Maker (CTR-N-HEDE) (U).legit.cia
Although sysUpdater is the preferred app when installing system titles,
for HOME Menu NAND system titles, you may use FBI to safely install this.

Maybe a little offtopic, but... Have you tried what happens if you start a game that uses Miis when that app is missing from the system? Do the game crash? I recall Pokémon rumble (the first one for 3DS) uses them. If you give it a try and want to update about it, It'd be very interesting.

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
