I have a brand new Mig reader and a Cart used like 1 or 2 times, wondering if I should think about selling it on but no idea how much to ask for both items...... any idea anyone?
Hey there, I was just roaming for more info on the mig reader and saw your post, have you decided what to do with it yet? :)

I Dont know... bad luck... im still not banned... using that method. My switch 2 that was used to update games is not banned yet.

I dont know if you people dont evaluate the risk or maybe think that all methods are 100% secure.

I been telling you that for me is working without ban. If you get a perma ban is your problem and not my fault.

photo was take right now.. up switch 2 is the one with mig. The down one playing mk8 online now (january 8th at 9am)

remember, if you get banned it was a chance always and if you use any piracy method you have to know that you were at risk.

Today, I decided to sell one of my Switch 2 consoles because I have fully completed all the Switch 1 games I wanted to play using Mig Switch. I’ve realized that Nintendo will likely not release more enhancement updates for Switch 1 games on the Switch 2.

So, I turned on my Switch 2 (which I’ve been using with Mig since July 2025, 100% offline with fully updated Switch 1 games), formatted it twice, and tried to go online. To my surprise, the console was not banned. I've been playing Mig games for a year completely offline and haven't been banned.

Remember: the risk of a ban is always present.

The ban comes usually a week~ after you go online, please update us after a week or so! :)

With Donkey Kong Bananza, that's the only other game I have a physical copy of. :D Would be nice if it would lead to something useful. Haven't seen much going on in Switch 2 hacking scene.
i have only Bananza.
Next Game will be Super Metroid and Ocarina if they really exist

Just seeing this thread now, this didnt end well did it 😹

I actually own the migswitch and the dumper, but I would be very hesitant to use it in a switch 2

I've been using the Mig Switch on my Switch 2 for about 6 months now, and I still haven't been banned. However, I only use private backups.

Same here. Also about 6 months, no issues at all with private backups.

Wait really? thats actually really interesting. I actually dont own the switch 2 atm, but I know I would be super scared to try this. I been using it with my switch lite for a while from my private backed up games, but still would be scared on the switch 2. This is encouraging though

Concern would be in a system update more than anything. If they find a way to detect it and throw that in a system update well.... a new set of users get banned. Then Mig patches that method of detection, then nintendo finds another workaround. Its a back and forth.
