    i mean come on.
your avatar playing party poker with your 8 buddies betting microsoft points (that are used to buy and download games/contents) would be so fun and cool.
i bet it will be so popular and fun only if ms has balls to pull it off.
i have 800 ms points left.. i bet i can make it 80000 if gambling was supported.

Considering there's a ton of kids and teenagers that play Xbox, and the legal gambling age is 21, it'll never happen. Microsoft would see tons of lawsuits! Just stick to online poker...

No one wins at poker all the time. Luck and a lack of luck come into play.

I think that is a great idea...
and there is the parental control which parents could enable to control what their kids do - instead of suing some company because they cant control their kids

but I think it would be great

You'd also have to think of the other legal implications.
Gambling is not legal, or is severely limited, in every state.
I doubt MS would deal with individual state laws much less international laws in order to pull something like that off.

    Interesting idea though.
