You're mixing up Microsoft with Xbox...
They are trying to tank the Xbox Division and Microsoft Games.

No one said Microsoft is dying, they are a trillion dollar company, but they are definitely doing everything they can to exit the console market and Xbox as a whole, there is a reason, they were trying to rename Microsoft Games, instead of Xbox.

They want the Xbox gone! Same reason Xbox Game Pass, is now just Game Pass...

Also the CFO of Microsoft, herself, said she is forcing Xbox Division to do all these changes, because they owe them money from all those studios they acquired and ended.

There's no point for Xbox consoles to even exist anymore. Xbox/PS are practically the same thing now.

You'd only get an Xbox to play older Xbox console-exclusives like FH4. FH4 is actually why I won't sell my One X and it's a really good gaming console.

We still have all our Xbox's fully functioning, even the OG Xbox we have two mint conditions models, one is our launch system without a single scratch on it and the other one is a refurbished one we picked up a few years back that is literally renewed.
We still have our 360's, sold our One X and got the series X, which we might find another one, there are a few mom and pop stores selling them for barely $50, because there are BC games that work on One X and not Series X, which is an odd thing to do.

But in my family gaming circle, we already said on our old YT Channel may it rest in peace, since we deleted 16 years worth of content.
We decided that the Series X and PS5 would be our last console generation. My brothers predicted in 2018, that Xbox would leave the console market after their next console and after E3's ended etc. They knew that consoles wouldn't be relevant.

And even Sony is now placing their games on PC and I'm sure more will follow!

But Xbox started this mess, and I'll talk about that more, during our first podcast that me and my brother are starting in 2026.

Sadly its more than obvious that MS wants the Xbox brand to either die or de-valuate enough to be sold to another company.

Yeah when the PS4 and XBone had nearly the same processor, it became clear the race was gonna take one of them down soon. I feel Sony's mostly fumbled their way closer to the finish line than Xbox's decision to bow out, but still. This brand is toast.
