What should be the minimum read speed for a MicroSDHC used for an NDS flashcart (obviously)? I'm talking about read speeds, not Class which I understand is mostly irrelevant. I want to avoid crashing and freezing and all that bad stuff.

That's really enough. I've never experienced "lag".
Class 2 Sandisks are known for 10+ mb/s in readspeed.
In english, class doesn't matter but the recommended READ speed is 5mbp/s...
Now, saving is a different issue... you want at least 3mbp/s for write.
