So I put in my 8GB Sandisk MicroSD into my CylcoDS and the first screen that pops up is that I need to format it to FAT 16 or 32. I then plug it in the computer and it can't read, or format it through my XP formatter. SO I download a panasonic formatter and it says that "Can't format due to write protection"? How did this happen? How to remove? Other microSDs work with it so the Cyclo itself is fine....any help?

Your adapter is probably locked (the little switch)

Oh forgot to mention, I'm not using a microSD-to-SD adapter so no little lock switch....any other suggestions? I'm really stuck on this.

Whatever device you use to connect to PC obviously doesn't want to write on your micro SD, so check if there are any options to enable it. If you use an USB adapter it's possible it doesn't support SDHC.

Put the microSD in a full size SD adapter, flick the little switch on the adapter with the microSD in it. That should fix it.

I put it in a SD adapter, a phone, camera, put the MicroSD straight into my computer and nonething wants to read it. It either pretends its not there or simply can't format it. I have no idea what happened.
