Homebrew Question MicroSd card support without fw update

Hey my switch is on 3.0.2 or something like that and I want to keep it that way. But I never got around to download the sdxc driver update. Is there a way to get that without updating to 5.0.1 in the progress?

What limitations do I have if I don't have that driver
