Hardware Micro SD card won't format correctly

Hey I just bought a 128 GB sandisk micro SD card and I am trying to format it with GUIFormat and it won't let me, any trick to doing this that I don't know?

Right Click the USB in Windows Explorer -> Format -> Done

It has to be formatted to FAT32, however. And windows isn't going to do that without a program like GUIFormat.

Wait, I think it let me format it to FAT32 after I did a normal format to NTFS. Maybe it will work now.

no. you need to use a formatting tool because windows doesnt format sdxc cards to fat 32. also set cluster size to 64kb

I think he meant that his original program (guiformat) was now working.

Yeah, its working now. I had to what shinyMK said and format it to NTFS first then GUIFormat worked alright.

Any formatting software should work like i used easeUS partition master 11.0 to wipe of the partition and put a new one fat32 with 32kb clusters and works liek a champ.
