I know that Edge is "supposed" to work up to 32gb, but has anyone actually tested it at 16gb? I want to upgrade from my 2gb. It's just not cutting it anymore for me and I want to know what works. Most topics are talking 4 and maybe 8gb, so maybe it's time for a new one. Sorry if this is old.

What do you all recommend out there? (ie. Brand, size, class)

Thanks.

Well I recommend a Sandisk micro sd. A 8GB micro sd can hold up to 80 games if each game is 100 megabytes.
I have a 4GB micro sd Sandisk but I cant afford an 8GB one. I recommend Sandisk but Kingston and Transcend
are good too. Go for a Class 6 one.

I just made a topic asking for a good 8 gig Micro SD because 1 gig ain't cutting it. LOL
And what ive learned is to just go for a good name brand with the number 6 on it.

I use a class 4 Kingston 8gig in my Edge. Runs perfectly. I had a class 6 Adata in there and it worked well also. I notice a very slight increase in transfer speeds on the computer with the class 6 but no difference when I'm using them in the DS.

i have used a 8GB MicroSD but will try larger size after the MicroSD has gotten cheaper or i have much money to buy it. anyway, my MicroSD's can hold more than 100 games and more than 500 classic games (what i use it for my emulator)

Cool. Thanks for your feedback.

I shouldn't really be surprised that no one is using the 16 yet. I suppose I'll probably get an 8. It should hold enough games plus homebrew. Even enough extra space to act somewhat as a portable hd.
