MSRAU
MSRAU is a tool used to edit your save to unlock amiibo only content on Metroid Samus Returns.

What can it do?
  • Change difficulty mode to Normal, Hard or Fusion(which includes the Fusion Suit)
  • Show save as completed on save selection screen
  • Unlock the Energy Reserve Tank
  • Unlock the Aeion Reserve Tank
  • Unlock the Missile Reserve Tank
  • Unlock Metroid Art II in the gallery
  • Unlock Concept Art in the gallery
  • Unlock Music in the gallery
How to use
  • Dump your save using JKSM
  • Copy the dumped save onto your PC
  • Download MSRAU
  • Run MSRAU
  • Click the "Open" button and open the pkprfl.bmmssv file
  • Enable the stuff you want
  • Click "Save"
  • Your save should now have the content unlocked.
  • Now just import the save using JKSM

like would i have to use this editor again if i wanted another save file to have fusion mode
If you mean save file 1, save file 2 and save file 3 then yh. Each save has a separate save file. But first you would have to create the save in game. So for example say if you want save 2 to have fusion mode then in game select save 2.
Each save has a separate folder
profile0 = save 1
profile1 = save 2
profile2 = save 3

Define indefinitely.
It changes the mode to Fusion and gives you the suit. Fusion mode is more difficult than Hard mode.
like when you start a NEW GAME on the Fusion save file, are you able to choose NORMAL, HARD, and FUSION?

I'm not sure if it asks you that.
Hard mode unlocks after completing the game once in normal mode.
Fusion mode unlocks after completing the game once in normal mode and if you've scanned the Metroid amiibo.
if it finds one save file completed in normal mode maybe it asks you what mode you want when creating a new save?

Edit: Just tried nope it doesn't ask what type of mode you want to try. So ye for each save you'll have to use this tool. You can switch between the modes using my tool anytime you want without losing your current save progress

This would be something excellent to have on the 3DS itself. If you could release the source I would definitely look into making a 3DS homebrew app to do it on the system itself.

But all in all, excellent job! Game has been out for how long? One day?

I am not sure about Fusion mode being permanent or not, if Normal Mode is beaten with no amiibo scanned then start a new game on the same save file will ask to start a new game Normal or Hard or Amiibo

Just to confirm that you could choose new game Fusion on the same save file after beaten the game in Fusion mode, extra Tanks will be gone

Thanks for the work, I hope you add the other amiibos unlockables soon!! Thanks again!!!

To only get the "amiibo" thing, i only need select "normal" (or whatever) and deselect "Unlock Energy..."?

P.S.: win32 version?

There are more amiibo unlocks after completing the game:
http://www.nintendo.de/News/2017/Ju...etroid-in-Metroid-Samus-Returns--1246282.html

Samus (Samus Returns): Metroid II-Artwork in Gallery
Samus (Smash Bros.): Samus Returns concept art in Gallery
Zero Suit Samus (Smash Bros.): Samus Returns Music in Gallery
I'll see if I can make it unlock only these content instead of unlocking all of them.

If you do that then there's no point in using this tool.
