lol this is weird when you select the alt dol it auto loads your save games how does it do that? you can also only save 1 game per game (mp1,2.3) too.

Working fine here with 4.1E, cios rev14, Configable usb loader and alt dol enabled. Ofc I can only have one save game atm, but hey it works.

Also Metroid Prime 3 only works on the scene release due to the P2P release being corrupted.

What is "scene" release ?

A "scene" release is following a set up list of rules and specs regulations.

How do you rip, how do you pack the release, how do you name it, how do you release, how do you distribute etc etc.
A scene release are those downloads that contains many many RAR files, they never release a pure ISO-file for download.

And last but not least, "scene" releases are actually not meant to reach the public internet and/or torrentsites, but they are leaked by people all the time, and the "scene" people are furious/pissed about that.

lol if their not supposed to release it to the public why do they rip it than?
To share amongst themselves through ftp and for status. Scene groups are competitive.

Burned Metroid Prime Trilogy USA Wii OneUp with 2084960 as layerbreak. Even though I was on 4.1U it still asked to update and knowing that it most probably would have deleted the trucha sign bug for sure I ran it successfully through GeckoOS and I tried all games out with no problems at all. This was on an NTSC-U Wii with Waninkokos 4.1 updater.

Did the same, except I skipped the update step with Preloader + Hacks.ini for 4.1U.

The Wii is LOUD when using the DL DVD, though. I don't recommend it.

It also works with USB Loader CFG + Alt Dol + Hermes 223 (IOS36+IOS37), but you have to create a save first using the main MPT menu DOL.

Tried MP2 and MP3, but have not tried MP1.

The reason why you need to create the save is that loading any of the game DOLs starts your game up at the last saved point. Each sub-game does not have its own title screen or "load save" screen.

Never could get the game to work with gx always black screen. MP1 and MP2 work great with neogamma. MP3 gives me some eject disk error. I do have the 1up release the full iso.

To everyone who is having trouble getting the game to work:

Just buy it. It's a great deal, and one that is completely worth spending $50 on.

Hi All,

Quick question here. If I manually strip out all of the .DOL files from the game and store them on my SD Card, and change my settings to read from the SD Card instead of from disk, wouldn't I then be able to select any of the Metroids and they will play? Or will this not work?

Why buy it if you've already paid for the games before? Though I only bought the Metroid Prime Gamecube pack when it came out here in Sweden I simply won't buy the same game over again and Metroid Prime Trilogy doesn't arrive here until 4th September sadly and Australia have to wait till 15th October. I simply won't buy games due to fucked up release dates and because they are darn expensive when I can use the money for something else.

Wow 6 pages and still no one as declared the game as "alt .dol" fixable...??
wtf.gif
it works, maybe later Oggzee will make selectable the dol files...!!

Buying a game my Wii can't even read because of DVD9 laser calibration error from nintendo manufacturer on DMS first batch? thanks but I don't want to send my wii to nintendo to "correct" it.

There are 3 different .dol files.
If you use the SD method, you will have to rename all the 3 of them to the same ID. either you put them in a different folder, and select the alt dol folder each time, either you use the alt dol from iso disc, and select the one you want before launching it.

Uh, they already are selectable in Configurable and have been ever since the "disc" version of alt dol was added ages ago.
