No ammo, no auto-regeneration. Just hope the fanbase will not be filled up with dumb "bro"s. But power-suit customization will be sweet. Sweeter if I could keep the appearance in single player.
Looking forward to some ship operating and hidden abandoned satellite to explore, but still with major back tracking. Ship controls might become a thing if it is done properly. Also corruption have too many characters.
Nintendo will hopefully not make the sequels the wrong direction, if there is any. No one wants a cod/ bf/ halo clone.

They should make a good Metroid(vania) 2D to rebuild the franchise reputation and awareness then go full steam with a high-budget Prime sequel. With Retro at the helm of course and avoid multiplayer, that crowd is too hard to please. (and not nintos fanbase either - waste of dev money)

I really thought the Metroid Prime series ended on 3 since the last turn of events (don't want to spoil someone) but if i a new 3D Metroid happens it MUST have similar gameplay of Prime series since it was quite enjoying/frustating at same time.
A bit more of open world (universe?) game would be cool too considering Wii U capabilities, also, something like customizing the suit will ruin some of the "core" of the game that is powerups and shit.

I don't understand. Is there rumors or something for Metroid Prime 4 ?
What's this thread about? An upcoming sequel? Did I miss something?

Retro is using new engine and hiring artists, and the demand is high. Just wait for e3 and we should get something.

My bad. Luring "bro"s in will ruin metroid. While metroid other m's graphic with some more details and realness will be great, and I do like other m's modelling(the power suit is less bulky in this game, I believe. They just need the shoulder blade back). The next metroid 2d could totally use those texture. But not team ninja and over lengthen cg again, I swear if they ever get their hands on nintendo I will bust them with my own power suit. Metroid Prime will be far more detailed than any game we have seen.

Just the modelling, you will not get any power up with it, or you could modify the model to use it when you obtain a power up. For example you must recolour your design when you obtained the gravity suit.

I got it but it's the same as choose link clothes color at 4 swords or a purple Luigi, it just wrong on many ways. Multiplayer side, something like in Echoes but with a bigger map, more players and online mode would be a must-buy for metroid fans but it's nintendo we're talking about.

Retro using a new engine and hiring people doesn't mean we will get a metroid prime 4 (Which 3 is supposed to be the last in the prime series) Maybe retro is in charge of F-Zero now.

Well, i just didn't like them at all.
And i know people will think I'm a fucking moron for saying this but i kinda want them to follow in Other M:s footprints, i really enjoyed that game.
But let's face it, no Metroid game will ever be as good as Super Metroid.

I would like a good 10-16player sci-fi FPS on Wii U (or any platform for that matter) Metroid would be great for this. It could maybe be a cross of MP2,MPH and Perfect Dark. And an Evolve-like mode where one person plays as a boss like Ridley would be great.

Alternatively a spinoff game like section 8 but with GF vs Space Pirates with a Galactic Federation campaign

I loved Metroid Prime, Super Metroid, and Zero Mission. I thought Prime 2 and Fusion were okay.
For multiplayer, I'd be fine with just same basic arena 2D action on the 3DS, and maybe something like Hunters on the Wii U (just not crappy). Not really a concern for me. I have Project M and F-Zero GX for multiplayer when guests really want to play something multiplayer. Other than that, singleplayer all the way for me.

We need an online F-Zero and StarFox too, no one I know in person can handle F-Zero and Star Fox :(

Unfortunate, I'm in the same position. I invited a couple of friends over to play some F-zero GX on Nintendont a little while ago - I won each and every race with a ridiculous lead. I can handle myself in that game, I'd love to challenge other veterans to see what's what.

Most of my friends get it well enough, as they've all played racing games in some form or another. I just don't play with a setup I'm good with to make it more interesting.
