I've tested on my UniiLoader with cheat enabled. It works perfectly without disk in drive.

I've included text file for codemanger along with compiled .gct file (Put gct file into /Cheats folder on FAT partition and choose this in game properties in UniiLoader)

P.S.: this is for NTSC-U version.
Don't ask me for PAL - i haven't it.

BEAUTIFUL !!

Is it possible to find a code to fix Metroid Prime 1 , for USB Loader ?

absolutely stunning. I will try this out soon. Will this type of cheat protection be able to work on other games like De Blob, etc? If so, you just made the USB loader that much more powerful, great work.

Superb sorgelig, I'm guessing your gonna get requests for all the other games like this and in every region

I think it's great for people that have a Wii with a broken drive (I do). I don't think you can play these games fron USB without a working drive, I've not actually tried myself though.

Does anyone know which games are like this and require a DVD in the drive ? Surely someones already "made a list"...

no. this hack patches address specific to MP3 only. Probably other games with similar problem has similar place in code, but on different addresses. May be, somebody having many such games and capable to use IDA, can find pattern to make universal patch like 002/language/video patch.

I have only 2 games with disk check: Metroid Prime 3 and Metroid Prime Wii de Asobu.
So, my goal is to make both working. Since MP1 Wii de Asobu has another issue, i'm not sure will i able to fix it by myself.

btw, i have no USB Gecko, so i can use only IDAPro to find required place.

Well, awesome work

. I don't need it, my Drive is intact, but for all the other peoples that have a broken drive, or are too lazy to put in a disc, is this awesome

. Good work

. Maybe you could ask WiiPower if he could help you with a "General" Fix...I think he could do that...

Anyways, keep it going!!!

Could somebody PM me the main.dol from Metroid 3 NTSC-U ?

And I never used cheat codes for Wii before. How do I interpret the .txt file?
First column RAM address, second column value to write?

Well i got Metroid Prime Wii de Asobu working on the USB Loader, but it involves using a Wii Scrubber, be nice to find a fix for that game without having to move files around

Wow! Could you share it? It would be greatly appreciated. It's currently the only game that I have that I'm stuck playing on a disc.

NEVERMIND! I found it, thanks. Should have searched before asking. Sucks that it skips the menu, but at least I can play.

Would you please share how you did it ? Thanks !

Could an ocarina code be used to make IOS reloading games like MKA, MoHH2, & RS not reload the IOS so they could work with the USB Loader?

I just keep an empty DVD-R in the drive and all games with the disc check works just fine. The drive just have to feel something inside of him and it's happy with that.
