Gaming Method to change switch date without mucking upACNH

Hi,

I did not realise but my switch date is 1st April 2019.
I had already started ACNH and had achieved quite a lot etc.

I want to be able to have the bunny event but it won’t trigger unless I change the date by a year. Which will then cause all my flowers to die/weeds/villagers will move out.

Is there either a way to change the date of my switch without the game realising or triggering the event with the date that my switch is now?

Flowers can't die in NH, far as I know villagers and stuff of the like are not affected by TT though probably should wait for more information from others.

Don't worry, the game is still dumb as brick in this regard.
My lil brother keeps changing the date as he pleases.
Hasn't done much to his game as far as I can see.

And apparantly, some villagers require some real net whacking and silence treatment until they finally move out.
