Oh, if you're referring to my post don't confuse Metal Gear Solid Snake 2 (from MSX2) with Metal Gear Solid 2

Yo, think you can update the cheats for MGS1 again? My version is the 3.0.0 for the Europe region. Game ID: 0100C1301A9C2000, and the Build ID is: DEAE4D8E5ADC90E1. Tried following Gamerjin's method or renaming the Build ID the same way ID by copying the cheat codes within the txt file, but it only crashed when entering the game. Anyone know how to fix it?

i attempted to run the codes thru the asm updater, and with some manual adjustments, i am 95% sure its updated now,

there is an asm code updater now. is available to the public because the tool i have that updates only does pointers which is the code updater tool which is at ver. 1.14

Yo, you did make the cheats, but it's not working. I still got spotted nonetheless even I activated the Ghost Mode (something like that), and I don't get the equipment and items in my arsenal. I think it needs some reworking.

1) which metal gear are you playing? the top metal gear or the bottom, japanese text only, metal gear?
if the top metal gear, proceed to 2)
Me and Khoung did not touch the bottom one, and the address extractor was collected from the top game, so if you are loading the bottom one, i cant help you there.

Again, i tested muliple languages, and the equipment codes do work for me.

Ah, sorry. I think the Ghost Mode is that I assumed that you'd be invisible to almost any enemy around, like you're not always detected around with Snake running around. And, I played the MGS 1 Integral version of it in the Collection Vol 1., the Japanese text is there because Integral version of MGS1 is director's cut/extended version of it according to what I found on Google on knowing the difference between the OG MGS 1 vs the MGS 1 Integral.

ok, so rather than mess with what is already established, i will simply add to it.
however, this will present a different problem in its own right. as i am literally having to create the same cheats again, but with an offset specifically tailored to 1 specific game. i will post the resulting file as a separate file,
this also means, you will need breeze's ability to load cheat files.

this will unfortunately cause some problems,
but i will not hear:
how i didnt listen
or i didnt help,
or "im on emulator x and y codes arent working, fix them!"

thank you so much for these they are working fine for me im playing the original not the integral but at some point i might play the integral and test your integral cheats i have them on my console but they are not in use right now as im happy with the og version thanks again
