It does say what it does. If you dont understand it, it means that it loads up the rebboter from gamma and then takes you to the System menu. Its faster than gamma if you want to play 1:1 copies.

No. The menu patcher is a completely seperate channel. It pretty much incorporates a feature from gamma and launches it automatically. If you already have a gamma channel, you dont need this, but it makes it faster for 1:1 copies.

I really don't like homebrew channels, but bassically if I run the rebooter in the gamma, it's the same thing as this menu patcher, right??

well I would just wait for CSM it will incorporate all the goodies into one nice and user friendly setup

for now if you dont know what its for stick with the CIOS that comes with wiigators loader just to be safe rather than sorry!

dunno, but I think, it makes the Wii reboot and then you can play the 1:1 thru the Disc Channel, I don't see much value, the gamma Launcher does the same, and region free, when you press "B"

menu patcher just reloads the system menu but patched
i made it in a channel so that you didnt evrytime must go to hbc and the lite is not faster it just takes less blocks up and if you just start the channel it takes about 4/5 seconds to load the patched system menu so way faster than gamma loader

Doesnt work for me. It says something about there being no system menu or some shit like that. gives me an error like ret-2XXX (X's being numbers i cant remember)
