Gaming Mega Man 9 problem

So I bought Mega Man 9 (European version) and I noticed that when I enter the game it get squished, there are 2 black bars below and above the screen.
I don't get this problem in Wii games, in VC games i do but that's because the 50Hz bullshit.
Can anyone help me fix this please?

might be cos it's 8-bit style like vc games
