Hacking Mega Drive Emulation on PSP

Hello, I have a PSP running 6.60 cfw, and I would like to install a genisis/mega drive emulator. I understand that PicoDrive is the best option, but I am confused as to how to play games on it.

1. Do I need a bios file to play mega drive/genesis games (not the cd add on thing).

2. Where do I put ROMs? I can't find a folder?
