PlayStation Experience 2017 has now ended, and one of the more interesting announcements of the night was that the PS1 classic title, MediEvil will be getting a full remaster in 4K, and will be a PS4 exclusive. More details are promised to be revealed "soon". This marks 12 years since the last MediEvil game, which was MediEvil Ressurection for the PlayStation Portable, back in 2005.

I liked it a lot but have not played it since the PS1 was current, or if I did it was not anything like a complete play through, and recall it did not control too well *grumbles about club and glass spikes* even then. Hope they manage to sort that.

It was not the first humour game of its style I had done but it was for many of my friends. The main thing to mar it was we all played discworld noir a few months later when that dropped (and possibly the demo before that) and as good as you might be it is unlikely you will come off favourably when being compared to Terry Pratchett.

Of all the PSX first party games.......*sigh*. Activision should step up and produce remakes of the Spyro PSX games. And god forbid they make brand new Spyro games. If they produced one as good as Spyro 3 I can nearly guarantee it would sell incredibly well. Although it would need to be in the cartoonish mold of the PSX games. And not the darker style of the next gen versions.

Also a remade, or new, Ape Escape would be great too.

I'm playing CTR, via a PSX emulator, right now. So despite your sarcasm I agree with what you wrote 100 percent. CTR had an awesome career mode Nintendo should replicate for their Mario Kart series.

I agree I prefer CTR over Mario Kart and Crash Bash over Mario Party. They just play so well. Even without the campaign modes.

Loved the original, but Sony need to develop some kind of Backwards Compatible function, rather than endless remasters.
