Hacking maybe an important question

ok so if i installed backup launcher 0.3 beta with cios installer that came with it...
then if i want to update to 0.3 gamma, what's the process?
do i have to uninstall cios first then install cios installer that comes with 0.3 gamma?
or can i just install 0.3 gamma + cios installer without worrying about it?

Just install the new one. It will overwrite the old one.

so this whole cios and the launcher thing...
which ios does it modify exactly?
is it ios36 or ios 249?
or both?
