Hacking Max SD size for Wii U and Loadiine?

So I am planning on using a SD Card to play backups through loadiine on my Wii U 5.5.0 so what is the max card size the Wii U and Loadiine support? Thanks!

usb is not supported and i read somewhere that the max size is 256gb i think?

Yeah, but I am looking for something a bit cheaper. I can still use a small SD Card to launch homebrew and such...
