Hardware Max SD Card size???

Just wondering the Max SD card is for Wii im using a 32GB Sandisk ATM but wanna run my GC backups from SD and am hoping maybe i can use a 64GB on it?

Im backing up all my GC Disks and already am over 28GBs.......i have my Wiiflow with Plugins setup and dont wanna delete any of that so looking for more space.

Any suggestions???

I seem to vaguely remember just having to format to FAT32 first.
