Hacking Max SD card size using wood

Does anyone know the max micro SD card size an original R4 using wood can handle? currently im using a 2GB but id so dearly like to just get a 8GB one or possibly more

To clarify could you confirm what works and what does. ie 2GB micro sd card works. would a 4GB? 8GB? ect ect

original r4 only supports normal sd cards not sdhc
and 2gb is the highest for a normal sd card
only a few 4gb's were normal sd cards but when you go out to buy a 4gb it is going to be a sdhc card
so 2gb is the highest original r4 supports

new kernel does not affect hardware. i am afraid original R4 users like us need to stick with 2GB or buy new carts. (m3i0 killed my dsl)

Just upgrade to an AceKard 2i if you can afford a 8GB MicroSD.

See? I was objecting to Kiafazool suggesting that Wood is the only decent firmware available for other carts.
