Never gave much to the series... Not to this one either...

As far as I know it does.SpaceJump said:Will it also come to the PS3?

Then why post at all you idiot?
Anyways, this trailer just proves that something simple, can turn into something awesome. I loved the first game, never managed to play the second one, but Shepherd is just amazing. He doesn't have that action hero type persona to him, but when you see him walk towards the camera in that trailer, it just makes me say "holy shit. that guy is epic."

But at least you were "first," right?![]()
Anyway, it's good to know that now Bioware are big enough that they, too, can burn out good franchises.

I actually bought that because it unlocks some DLC in ME2 and it turned out to be an alright arcade top down shooter. (Come to think of it reminds me of Dead Ops Arcade)Guild McCommunist said:GeekyGuy said:jackdanielchan said:FIRST!!

Making a trilogy is hardly "burning out a franchise". The game was pretty much laid out to be a trilogy and there's been like one spin-off (that iPhone game) that no one cares about. Mass Effect is meant to be a trilogy, and I doubt it'll lose it's magic in the third installment.

And ME1 would do alright as a lone game (It only left two loose ends, the reapers and the protheans), ME2 however was basically just leading up to ME3 and wouldn't do too well on it's own.

Well yeah, in a trilogy the second game is almost always the weakest. The first one establishes the story and the second one ends it. The middle is just a bridge and filler. Second was still absolutely amazing, mind you.
What I don't get is people demanding a new franchise all the time. Surely there are times a franchise needs to retire, but the time isn't after the first or second game. Spyro had an amazing trilogy (Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage, and Year of the Dragon). Crash Bandicoot had an amazing trilogy (Crash Bandicoot, Cortex's Revenge, and Warped). The Reapers is still a massively loose end that would need to be tied up. I mean we just learned of a giant, god-like mechanical race that essential destroys all life every couple of years and that they're coming back soon. I'm pretty sure we'd want to know what happens.
If they make a Mass Effect 4 I'll probably start saying they're "burning it out" but a third installment is a must.
