Didn't see being discussed yet, but the Marvel VS Capcom Infinite & Beyond project is about the release it huge mod for the PC steam version of the game. I am personally pretty excited to see MVC coming back (starting the the MVC fighting collection)
Probably one of the hugest mod projects that I can think of. With about 40 people on the development team and Maximilian Dood funding the project out of pocket (about $30,000 so far it seems).
They dropped their official launch trailer a few days ago as well:

- Overhauled art style for the cast of fighters
- Added visual effects
- New color palettes
- Alternate costumes
- Gameplay updates (Thanos has access to all Infinity Gems, new combo paths and mechanics, etc.)
- Stage updates (newly added ones)
- Four-player tag team modes
- Customized voices and sounds and new music tracks
