i have no idea... i was just browseing google and i stumbled across it. but the compatibilty is low and most NAOMI games don't work yet, the only 3 i seen that worked were Marvel vs Capcom 2(which is fucking great on the wii), crazy taxi and 18 wheeler

ive been playing MvC2 all morning on my wii, i havent tried any other games though...seems that MvC2 is a cps3 game, and MvC1 is cps2(which works on mame just fine.) some coder fiddled around i guess and got MvC2 to work....the hard part is finding the arcade rom MvC2....which i am forbbiden to give info on.(damn nazi mods)

    I doubt this is true.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 isn't CPS3 is NAOMI.

NAOMI isn't emulated on the MAME PC ver, and even DC emus have trouble emulating them (I think currently only GD-ROM dumps work). BESIDES THAT, Mame port for Wii (125) is still very slow and not properly adapted yet.

and that is where you are wrong my friend...Japans version of Marvel vs Capcom 2 ran on CPS-3, just like street fighter 3 and the american version ran on NAOMI. MAME runs CPS-3 games, get a japanese arcade rom of marvel vs capcom 2.

Now I know you are lying or perhaps just confusing a game.

MvsC 2 never ran on CPS3, not even J or whatever.

The Arcade version of SFIII did run on CPS3, however, the console ports where for DC, and that's not NAOMI. There weren't NAOMI versions of SFIII.

SO, this topic is just WRONG [IMG]

BTW, the latest MAME version for PC is 0.129u4 and for Wii is 0.125 (not properly adapted)

As Gamer said. Marvel vs Capcom 2 is not a CPS3 game. It is purely NAOMI.

Though I have some rumors about a NAOMI Emulator. I can't say for sure if it's true or not.

nullDC Naomi, Makaron and Demul can do NAOMI fine (only GD-ROM as far as I know from available dumps), but of course they are Windows emus and most likely won't get a Wii port from those.
