there's a prepatched version out, use the many resources that are available on the internet to scope it out.

I can't find it either, tried torrents, newsgroups, emule, google, etc. Can anyone at least give me what to search for exactly, like a string at least or part of a string.

Goto the Supercard forums, you will find a patch there.

The pre patched version should be easy to find of this. The games good, I enjoyed it. Its a bit too easy though unless your playing for the impossible golds.
