Hope everyone is doing well. Mario Strikers Battle League is failing to boot. When you start the game and you see the soccer loading icon then after a minute or so, gives an error message and closes. I did see a fix for users that has SaltyNX to add to the exceptions file but I don't have SaltyNX installed. Any ideas what I can do to make it work? Thank you!

Also a side question, I see others mention you use AIO Updater to update Firmware and Atmosphere, is that true? Can I be directed to a link to guide me through this process? Thank you!

Problem is old, there was a big thread where I posted a fix, using the search function here would have helped.

Edit: it seems like the whole thread whysoever got removed from the forum, I can share the fix with you when I am at my computer again. My bad.

Use this to update instead of AIOs

its all in the tutorial section, while AIO updaters are handy you're better off learning how to update manually, again all in the tutorial section.

Thank you so much! Do you have the link? I will bookmark and keep it handy. Sorry for the newbie questions as I am new to the site and getting familiar.

You’re talking about this thread, right?

@DJ3xclusive

the fellas are right about updates…learn how it all works in detail. Once you’ve mastered it manually, you can use AIO in the future if you’d like for fast updates (and if you happen to get in a jam you will know how to fix it.) AIO is not a silver bullet to fix things when they break. Here’s a great reference (the link @HalfScoper posted is in here too.)

here’s the link, but seriously…learn to do everything manually first or you will be right back here asking for help.
