Homebrew Mario & Luigi RPG 3 help needed

I'm currently playing M&L RPG3 on an emulator but when I reach the first fight as Bowser, as the fight begins the screen divides, as both screens have 1 half of the upper screen and 1 half of the lower screen, then there's some talking and when the fight is truly about to begin the emulator crashes. I don't know what to do. I'm a newb seeking help!

Which emulator are you using?

Try a alternative one =D

I'm using NGZoom, I tried using No$GBA and had the same problem. I'm using them WinDS PRO.
