For the first time in ages I tried to play Mario Kart from disk (it's not yet on my HDD) and the disk tries to update the system. What is the easiest way to stop this so that I can bypass the update?

Put it on your HDD using someting like backupmanager and only copy the game partition (so no update partition). It should be somewhere in the options.

He means NOT from the HDD.
Yeah... but the easiest way to get passed the problem is for him to actually put the game on his HDD... or maybe... cancel updates with PriiLoader or such..? I still like the "Put it on your HDD... ... ..." option though... Back it up through USB Loader GX or something, yeah?
