Hacking Mario Kart update block

Yes its a annoyance but nothing bad
my zelda (1.12) when u click it pops a message up " A NEW UPDATE IS AVAILABLE IT WILL BE DOWNLOADED NOW."
3 boxes under it START SOFTWARE / CANCEL / DOWNLOAD
I click start software and it plays the game.
So as long as my switch is 3.0.0 and i can still play ZELDA im happy.

Hey all.

Simple question.

I have a 3.0.1 Switch. Retail Mario Kart cart. I dont have any wifi info inserted (used to) as to make sure it doesnt update.

Whenever I launch Mario Kart, it nags for an update. I can skip it and proceed but wondering if there is a way to remove the nag? Is a day one patch lookup built into the cart?

OK i remember having a similar problem. I presume, When the switch is connected to the internet it looks threw your software and sees if any updates are available.
There is no way to get rid of this you would literally need to re-initialize your switch runs your games and never connect to internet at all.

Of course you will loose your saves.
