Yeah, I had it in my kart last week and it was $60. Looked again and it was $48. Playing it right now, the online blows with these disconnection errors.

Another user also ordered it for $48 on Amazon.com although they then changed it quickly back to the original price.

I'm in UK and purchased the game for £31.83 (made a save of £8.16 from the standard £39.99).

You'll be crying at the PAL region prices if you're comparing them to the US prices. Most games for the 3DS/WiiU are the same number in $$ as they are in €€, which would mean they are quite a bit more expensive than our versions. In case of Nintendo platforms you can't even import the US versions

I got it on launch day in australia for AUD$52.20 (about 29 GBP) from a department store. $58 with a 10% off store wide voucher.
At games stores (eb games etc) it's normally $69 (about 38.50 GBP).
