Not necessarily, if they wont be able to release until after November 21st (in America anyway), and we know it, then people may be less inclined to buy the DLC ahead of time as they know they'll be a very fun multiplayer experience in Super Smash, so they wont see the need to also have the DLC. IF however, you know its this month, but don't know the date, you may think, hey it could come out tomorrow, I should purchase this DLC, play with it when it comes out until Super Smash. It could very easily be a business decision not to release the release date yet.

Only 24 days until November 28 -- this is the date for the European release so I'm really excited that we're getting the game just a couple days later than in December (Japan gets it on December 6 ouch).

Well, he's travelled on a horse and boat so it's not that odd.

Link's definitely going to be one of the main characters I'll be trying out when I get to it but I still prefer the lighter (= faster) because the game's already too slow in terms of speed as it is.

Don't the heavier characters have more speed though? Lighter characters have more accelleration, but that only helps you if you keep getting hit by items.

speed is nothing in this you need to be able to get around them tight corners drifting is the key to winning.

The speed is far more important because that means you can stay ahead of your opponents and then for drifting once you master it once you've gotten it down for all.

Super Star in Mario Kart 8 is fucking pointless as it doesn't give you a turbo boost although it protects for a couple of seconds.

i out drift and beat the heavies all the time with yoshi. nearly every race with heavies i will always beat them they don't get a chance to get ahead of me. the only time they beat me is with item spam

The idea's good but playing the Excite Bike stage in 3D view takes away its excitement (no pun intended) and just makes it "normal" which is still okay.

If Nintendo would also include a 2D Excite Bike stage then that'd be awesome!

I wouldn't say Nintendo is screwed, in fact everything seems to be looking up for them, reporting profits for the first time in a few years, Smash due to sell very well and increase Wii U sales at that. If they release this DLC or not, isn't going to mean the end for Nintendo obviously, so thats a bit of a silly thought. But it would be incredibly dumb to release the DLC on the same date as Smash, I will agree to that.

Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out its due out today after the Nintendo Direct or within the next week. I'm sure there will be some sort of announcement regarding it in the direct.
