Combat Arms won't really work.It's not a good competitor in the FPS genre. It has no scope, including iron sights.

So it's basically like practically every FPS game before Call of Duty 4? Some of the best FPS games don't have iron sights (scopes are usually in most FPS games that have a sniper type weapon). Thought I'd point that out.

But not "practically every FPS game before" it didn't have Ironsights, so you should have pointed that out in the first place instead of saying something stupid. Ironsights have been around since near the beginning of 2000. The beta build of STALKER (build from 2002) had ironsights, and so did many other games. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 also had ironsights.

does this mean tht it will be played in collaboration with the "actual" maplestory? its kinda difficult since as said here above, it really needs to be updated regularly just like runescape cannot be done so unless there are forced updates
Maplestory and Runescape (and all point and click MMOs) are better played on the DS
though i liked maplestory previously but i felt what it had only was fighting and nothing interesting like RS (which i return to in 2-3 months everytime)

I doubt this will be an MMORPG. Hell, I'm not even sure if there will be online play, and if there were, it'd be limited at best just like Ragnarok.
I'm sure this game is meant to be Single Player, and it might have nothing to do with the PC game other than possibly including a code to redeem an online item.

Oh, btw, IIRC the game is single player only, maybe they added local wireless but I don't think there's any Wi-Fi.

Maplestory is midly fun, but it lacks depth. It's one of those MMOs where you attack with your skills and monsters attack back. There's no professions, advanced fighting (combos, etc.), or anything of that nature. It took them awhile just to get mounts. I'd rather have something like Dragonica DS.

Wanna know how Nexon could totally pwn Mario Kart? Release KartRider/PopKart on the DS. Now THAT would be something I would PAY for. The Beta was awesome for PC, until they discontinued it in the US. Only the Korean and the Chinese versions are available now.

Ragnarok DS wasn't the best game ever, but I wouldn't call it bad. If you don't look at the name and just look at the game, it's pretty decent. People compare handheld versions of games too much to their console counterparts.

You're right about the fact that Ninty's never gonna translate it.
