Clearly too young to remember loading up C64 games!!
LOL, they took a feckin age didn't they.
We had a plus4, I remember sticking a game on to load then I'd go and make some breakfast or go to the shop waiting for it to load, lol. Those were the days, these young uns don't know how easy they have it do they!

it is priiloader slowing the wii startup

Could you please explain in what way priiloader is slowing the wii startup?
no, i can not explain.

but ive done this, the boot and return to, are both quicker.

note even going to try? it's pretty easy. the typical wii startup has a set number of steps, and priiloader inserts itself into that process, adding more steps. more steps = more time.

Haha +5! I actually added a slight delay to mine via bootmii to give it more of a "loader" feel...

Is this theme about defragmentation of a SD Ram?

No, but might as well ask now =), as you brought it up, if anybody knows. What´ll happen if I use the computer to defrag my SD-card for Wii? Can there be any problems?

I keep my wii fast & clean by using SD-card & USB-loading to a maximum. After all, those parts are easily replaced if they get worn out.

I don´t install any wads or channels. The only thing I store on my Wii-memory is Wii-saves.

Just a kinda noobish question here, but I feel that this is an issue worth discussing.
I have a friend with a Wii with a lot of WAD:S and his machine is acting much slower than mine.

Is something written to the Wii:s internal memory if I, let´s say, play an online game?
Does a Wii get some way get clustered over time even if I only use SD and USB?
Does online activity affect this?

Totally worth it if you can skip the health and warnings screen.
