I purchased Retro City Rampage for my Wii. I know that my Wii is not going to last forever and will eventually need replaced, so what tools do I need to get Retro City Rampage off of my hard drive, convert it into a WAD and fix it so that I can install it onto another Wii?

Thanks in advance!

So you have it in your hard drive? Are you using an emulated NAND? In that case, you can use ShowMiiWads; it is able to generate WADs out of installed titles on an emulated NAND. I'm plenty sure there are a few other tools around that can do this task, but this one is the most used.

If the WiiWare title is installed on the real NAND, you can use my Yet Another BlueDump MOD. It can also fakesign the Ticket properly to make the WAD compatible with any other Wii console.

Oh, and by the way, Merry Christmas!

Yet Another BlueDump MOD is confusing me a bit. It seems to allow me to explore my files on the Wii, but I'm not seeing any options to save them to the SD as WAD or otherwise.

Its functionality is pretty much similar to that of AnyTitle Deleter and its modifications. The main screen shows different title categories, each one with a certain description about the type of title it contains.

Since you're trying to dump a WiiWare title, you have to choose "00010001 - Installed Channel Titles". Once you're there, just change the selection to the title you want to dump using the D-PAD, and then, press 1.

Everything else is pretty much self-explanatory, really.

I've got a softmod wii. I've got some virtual console games downloaded and play them. Like Super Mario Bros. Is there a way to play them on my new Wii U? Or do I need to mod the Wii U?
