I followed the tutorial and burned the PES 2008 NTSC ISO

OK,booted the DOS like screen but my Wii Remote always turn off and I can't turn It on,then I press RESET(As the text on the installer says)and It gives me an error...I think It's 11

What should I do to solve this?

Thanks

Nevermind,got It working =D

I think It was tha adapter that I was using...strange because It's working fine with the PC and used to work with the Wii

Wait a bit or try the red synch button on the remote. Or use another remote.

The v2 installer does not use the wiimote, just the reset button.

Hmm, what are the chances to see a program that integrates the WADs in a dol which has the wad installer built-in ... unpacks the wad in the memory and installs from there ... there's no big chance, cause this possibly will be hit by some memory limit or something

I'm too lazy to go out and buy an sd card

or maybe I have one , but it's only 16mb

itss not working for me guys i followed all steps i popped in the modified iso popped in the sd card it comes up with the wad installation page i push a ,lights flash but go of i push sync the same thing also with pressing 1and 2 i am guessing its the sd card ,there are coupla points i am unsure ofnumber 9 .says put wad int the root of the sd card where actualy is the root and it says rename it to title .wad now does that mean the actual game title .wad eg legendof zelda .wad or just title.wad please help i am lost here...

do you use wad installer 1 or 2?

if you use one, you press 1 and 2 and then it'll start installing ONE Wad file that is on the root of your SD card, if you use 2 well it only asks you to press reset and then it installs many WAD files at the same time they need to be in a file named WAD in root.

THANK YOU SO MUCH WORKS GREAT NOW JUST TO CLARIFY i was using wad installer 2 and like you said the title.wad has to be in a folder in the root titled just wad, thanks again...

Can someone help me?
I tried to burn 2DVD's using the method in the first post and it didn't work after i enter the DVD its saying "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for troubleshooting."
Then i tried to burn a DVD with the Sd-elf-loader.dol and its just giving the same error.
I used maxwell dvd+r burned at 4x on a teac writer.

I have a question if i install a game on there and i decide to take it off can i not just simply delete the channel? I did this with kirby nes and the wii appears to have the correct amount of space left after deleting the game. However i see WAD Uninstaller v1.1 which from what i gather when you install a game it puts tickets on your machine so u can redownload them again from the store. My question is do these tickets take up space?

Yes. The tickets do take up a small amount of space. I put 10-15 VC games on my Wii, and deleted them all NOT using the WAD uninstaller.. I then noticed there were about 7 blocks missing in my "free blocks". I then ran the WAD uninstaller on those 10-15 games, and those 7 blocks freed up again.

I hope some way in the future exists so we can download VC games form the shop channel after deleting them without getting the download errors... It's annoying to have to use the SD card/ISO every time. I'd much rather download them. I know this would involve keeping the tickets for each game on my system, but I'd be willing to do that if the downloads actually worked.

Hi,

Ok here is my question....If i install them with the name Super mario.wad when i go to uninstall it to i have the exaclty the same wad file and use the uninstaller?
The reason i ask is because if i use the title.wad and i have say 10 vc games on the wii how does it know which 1 to uninstall?

Cheers

Just make a folder in the root of your sd card and put the wad of the game you want to uninstall, it can be named anything you want, and run the uninstaller program. The program knows which one is which because each WAD file is different.

Hope this helps.

I made a small tutorial how to make a WAD Installer ISO, which works with the SD Card, so you only need to burn it ones and only have to replace the Wad file on the SD Card
There is no TP Hack required it will work immediately

What do you need:
-A Modchip
-Wad Installer DOL (http://waninkoko.wiinewz.com/WAD-Installer_v1.zip)
-Trucha Signer
-Wad File to install
-SD card
-A DVD burner
-A DVD
-DVD Burning software

The Tutorial:
1.Download the Wad Installer and extract it somewhere
2.Open Trucha Signer and select a game iso(It doesn't matter what)
3.Right Click the Main.Dol of the second partition
4.Click Replace and replace it with the wad-installer.dol
5.Sign the partition and close Trucha Signer
6.Now burn the iso to a DVD
7.Ones the burning has finished you can put the burned dvd in the Wii
8.Now connect you SD Card to your computer
9.And in the root of the SD Card place the wad file and rename it to title.wad
10.Now you can start the DVD and the WAD Installer will boot up
11.Press 1+2 or the Red Sync button
12.Ones it says the wiimote is connected press A
13.The Wad Installer will now install the WAD file to the wii system this will take a minute
14.When it's finished it will automaticly reboot the wii and the Channel should be there

Will this method work to make a wad uninstaller iso ?

Yes it does , I did one. it works perfectly.

If I erase the channel using the Wii Menu.
Will it be completely erased?

I ask this in case Nintendo searches for specific modifications in the future.

Thanks.

kontrolaka,

no.... it's not removed completely because after you remove in the Wii Menu, you are able to redownload them from Wii Shop Channel....

maybe the WAD uninstaller does that.... but I didn't test it!
