Gaming Majora's Mask 3D Cheat Code question? (Garo Mask)

hi all,
for the last month, I've been playing throughly Majora's mask 3d on my N3DSXL (SNES)
and I have almost gotten to the 3rd Temple (im at the 3rd temple),

but, im stuck with getting the "Garo Mask" from the Gorman Borthers (Mario brothers mockup?)
as the race for the mask is tough as s2k0 to do.

I've almost got all the masks (easy to do), except the Garo mask.

since I have luma on my 3ds, I can use cheats, so I got sharklike and got the MM3D codes from sharklike' DB.

but, the code "have all masks", unlocks all the masks,

this is good, but I would like to unlock only the "Garo mask" needed for getting into Ikana valley, and for finishing the Anju & Kafei side quest.
getting the other masks I can do easily through normal gameplay (no need to get them via code).

um, my question is: what's the certain/specific code for getting just the "Garo mask" from the sharklike MM3D cheat codes (codes above)?

for MM N64, I have found the single code for getting the Garo mask only, but I can't find it for mm3d?

if I just make a new line entry in the cheats.txt and add that code in, will this work?

It's fairly likely that the code you noted is the one for the Garo Mask. In both the N64 and 3DS versions, the masks are items 0x32 to 0x49 and the 3DS port was directly based on the source code for the N64 original. In the N64 game, item 0x3B was the Garo Mask, so unless they changed the order the masks were stored, it should be the same on 3DS.

I haven't used any 3DS cheats, but I don't see any reason that one line alone wouldn't work if you added it as a separate cheat. All of the codes in the full list are just doing the same thing, patching memory to put a particular mask item into a particular slot, so each of them should work just as well individually.

Saving is optional in Majora's Mask, right? If it turns out the cheat was wrong after all, you can probably just quit without saving and it won't harm your save. If you're really worried, you could always use an app like Checkpoint to take a backup of your save right now, then test the cheat. Even if somehow it completely erased your save, you could just restore it from Checkpoint and you're right back where you started.
